Gabriel Perli
Gabriel Perli graduated in Chemistry as a Valedictorian from the University of Campinas (2018). While there, he completed two undergraduate scientific projects, working on microfluidics and colloidal chemistry. Additionally, he actively participated in organizing the University of Campinas Olympiad of Chemistry (08/2015-2020).
In 2020, he obtained his master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from the same institution under the guidance of Prof. Catia Ornelas. His research focused on the synthesis of hyperbranched macromolecules and the investigation of their self-assembly.
He completed his PhD in Chemistry of Materials from the University of Lyon I in 2023. Throughout his doctoral studies, he was advised by Prof. Jannick Duchet-Rummeau and Prof. Sébastien Livi. His research focused on synthesizing novel monomers derived from Ionic Liquids, which were employed to develop multifunctional and degradable epoxy thermosets and composites.
His research interests lie in employing Organic Chemistry to create environmentally-friendly thermosets and composites with desirable properties.
