Negin Haghigat Naeini

Ms. Negin Haghighat Naeini earned her bachelor’s degree in Polymer Engineering in the year 2019. She obtained her master’s degree in Polymer Engineering (Processing) from the AmirKabir University of Technology in Iran in the year 2023. During her Master’s, she focused on a nanocomposite based on PLA/NR and CNC: the morphological relationship between viscoelastic properties and heat-triggered shape memory behavior. From 2021 to 2025, she worked at different well-known companies regarding food packaging, as the research and development manager, back in Iran. In September 2025, she joined the Sustainable Biocomposite Materials Group, at POLYMAT for the completion of her second master’s in polymer chemistry at the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU, under the supervision of Dr. Danila Merino and Dr. Ainara Sangroniz Agudo on biobased composites.
