A PhD Fellowship aimed at pursuing a PhD in Applied Chemistry and Polymer Materials at UPV-EHU is currently available within Dr. Danila Merino’s group at the Basque Center for Macromolecular Design and Engineering, POLYMAT Fundazioa (www.polymat.eu). The PhD fellow is expected to start on September 1st, 2024.

Applicants must hold a university or master’s degree in chemistry, engineering, biochemistry, or a related field, with demonstrated research experience in developing and characterizing sustainable polymer/composite materials for agrifood applications. Proficiency in plant-food science is also desirable.

A strong command of written and spoken English is essential. Following preselection, an interview will precede any further appointments. The chosen candidate will be responsible for conducting experimental research and producing reports and research publications.
