Milica Arizanova
Milica Arizanova is a PhD student at University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” – Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy in Skopje, North Macedonia. She graduated from the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy in 2019, where she obtained the title: Bachelor of Science in Technology and Metallurgy in the field of Food Technology and Biotechnology with average grade of 9.41/10. Her Bachelor thesis was named: Cold sterilization of herbs and spices with gamma irradiation – microbiological aspects. She continued the master’s studies at University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” – Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies (FEEIT) where she graduated in 2021 with an average grade of 10/10. She studied Metrology and Quality Management and her Master’s thesis name was: Monitoring procedure for irradiated food in an accredited laboratory. In 2021 she obtained the degree Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies in the field of Metrology and Quality
Management.
Milica is currently working as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, in the department of Food technology and Biotechnology. She teaches: Introduction to Food Engineering, Fundamentals of Biochemical Engineering [Enzyme & Microbial Engineering], Food Preservation Processes, Biological Fundamentals of Raw Materials. The topic of her doctoral thesis is the development of intelligent packaging that will monitor the state of food at any moment in time. She is particularly interested in the implementation of anthocyanins in biopolymer matrices and their color change depending on the pH of the packaged food.
